About Lexi
Traveler.
Nomad.
Writer.
These words all describe me, to some extent. I am a traveler, forever visiting. I am a nomad, wandering across distant lands. I am a writer, seeking to capture reality with words.
My name is Lexi Marino, and I am a native to the desert Southwest. In the past years, I’ve begun to open my eyes to stories of my home. I’ve learned that all the places I visit have a story. There is so much beneath the surface of what we see, if we are willing to dig for it.

In these writings, I’m attempting to share the stories I’ve discovered. The places are real, and the stories themselves are true. However, I’ve certainly put my own creative spin on them and, in some cases, included my own musings about the past and present. I do not speak for any of these places nor hold any affiliation with them.

If you’re interested in the places I discuss, please feel free to seek out more information. You’ll find that many people have their own perspective on the stories I’ve told. I hope one day you’ll be able to visit and hear them for yourself.

If you do choose to visit, please be aware that some of my stories were written and photographed pre-COVID. There may have been changes since, so be sure to research your visit.

After all, we travelers must always be prepared. There's so much for us to see.
